when you don't know where you were going with something, but like where you arrived.
i imagine these aliens to have hard exteriors like one of those iridescent glint beetles from pikmin, but they're soft and gooey on the inside like maple syrup.
they have fluorescent spines which... i guess was useful in evolution for something or other? they are meant to show through the skin, not be revealed out from under them like my zombies. also you can see the main secondary sex characteristic, hypno asses.
back details.
these motherfuckers have legs too. look at them legs.
as you can see, the sexyfeet have a little seam-age going on. the blockfeet are completely seamless, if i remember right from milkshape.
the seams are the worst on the toddlers. also, the toddlers are fucking scary.
back of the toddlers. they had the opacity of the skin details turned down a tiny bit. also, the scalp looks like that on all ages. this pic is my only scalp shot.
look, i don't have very many bald preview sims ok lmfao.
children use exactly the same masks as their adult counterparts.
the skin also works for tiny baboos! i desaturated the details and had to smoosh them around to fit the baby body. as a result, the hands are a little... strange. they look like they're trying to do green kamehamehas through blue oven mitts. it's fine.

all skin credits as before, will post a masterlist and who did what when i upload the naturals. when i finish the naturals.
aside from the leg muscle and spine textures, which were taken from royalty-free anatomical vectors on the interwebz, all the other details were hand painted or repurposed from dumb patterns i've made in photoshop or gimp. i might've also taken the abdominal muscles from a vector but i know i had to paint over those damn things to get them to blend so idk how much of that remained.
information.
this download includes a default alien skin and a default alien eye. you of course, can mix and match.
i have no current interest in custom versions, but all of the ages exist in the default if you want to extract and convert them.
recoloring is also welcome, just message me on tumblr (furbyq.tumblr.com) for my psds or high quality dds if you need them! <3
