Hello everyone! Have you ever felt that your pseudo-pirate Sims were not quite fabulous enough? This download may be for you!
So I really liked the style of Trapping's Headband Hip 3t2, but neutral colors are not for me. I really needed it to be brighter and more ostentatious, so I did the logical thing and repatterned the headband with skulls and crossbones and recolored it in lots of Pooklet's unnatural colors. I also went ahead and retextured the hair part with Pooklet's V3, because that is how I roll.

I applied my headband retexture to the Trapping's original twists/braids texture as well, and also recolored the hair in my usual palette.

But that isn't all! I also wanted the hair for M and after some hesitation, I decided to attempt a conversion myself. Using Yuxi's super-duper mega handy tutorial, I actually succeeded! (Previews: Adult, Teen. The child & toddler ages are the same as the F version.)
Warnings & Suchlike.
I am not a mesher. I cannot do anything beyond checking boxes and scaling/rotating things a little. I followed the tutorial when converting the M mesh, but this hair was sassy and did not want to behave. I was unable to get the M scalp layer to work, as it kept showing up in the wrong place when I'd load the mesh in Bodyshop. To get around this, I resized the original scalp on the hair, meaning that the scalp has a few gaps underneath the hair (shown here). This is unnoticeable in game and Bodyshop unless you zoom in close enough to see under the hair, and I mainly kept the scalp so that the slight alpha issue (shown here, a little triangle of doom only present on the V3 version) didn't allow you to peer into the endless abyss inside the Sims' heads. This shouldn't effect the overall appearance of the mesh at all, I'm just warning you for full disclosure.
